How to Choose an Air Curtain?
What are they? Air curtains are used to distribute a stream of air that is directed across a door or opening. This stream of air helps to separate different environments without the inconvenience of a physical door or barrier. This allows for easier access between areas while maintaining the current temperature. Keeping heated or cooled air in its desired environment will help reduce energy costs. Why Awoco? Awoco has quickly grown to be a popular and reliable brand. Compared to other brands, Awoco is very inexpensive yet provides the same, if not better, quality. Products are made with simplicity in mind so they are much easier to install and maintain. Its stylish designs are also a great addition to any environment and the exterior plates can even be removed and painted to match the surrounding environment. List of Air Curtains Choosing an air curtain has never been easier. Here at Awoco we have 3 different series of air curtains. You have the choice between Super Power, Slimline, and Elegant series. Air Curtain CFM Chart Super Power Series (FM-15) Most popular model. If noise is not an issue, the FM-15 series is the recommended option for most uses, including the prevention of bugs. Strongest model, ranging from 785 CFM (24”) to 2354 CFM (72”). Comes with a traditional micro door switch or a new magnetic switch. Optimized electrical machinery, reliable and safe runs for 5,000 consecutive hours. Fan wheels are made of high-tech ABS, powerful wind-force. Fireproof and anti-erosive powder coated metal case.   Slimline Series (FM-12T) Includes remote control for easier access between speeds. Comes with a new magnetic switch. Slightly weaker than the FM-15 series, ranging from 1112 CFM (36”) to 1510 CFM (48”). Optimized electrical machinery, reliable and safe runs for 5,000 consecutive hours. Fan wheels are made of high-tech ABS, powerful wind-force. Fireproof and anti-erosive powder coated metal case.   Elegant Series (FM-35) Produces the least amount of noise. Recommended for environments where noise can be a disturbance. CFM ranges from 907 CFM (36”) to 1878 CFM (72”). Optimized electrical machinery, reliable and safe runs for 5,000 consecutive hours. Fan wheels are made of high-tech ABS, powerful wind-force. Fireproof and anti-erosive powder coated metal case. Intake vent is located at the top of the air curtain for the FM-35 series. This model requires at least a 2” clearance between the air curtain and the ceiling. All models come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Why is there not a heated option? Air curtains that include a heated air option require much more electricity. Heated air curtains must be hard-wired to an outlet that supplies 30-40A 240V to function properly. This consumes more power than the standard 120V. If a heated air curtain is plugged into a 120V outlet, it will be too weak or it may not work at all. It is usually not recommended to purchase a heated air curtain due to its complex installation and the extra electrical expenses. If the current area is already heated, a standard air curtain will be sufficient in keeping the cold air out. New Magnetic Switch vs. Roller Plunger Door Switch In the past, air curtains were activated with the traditional roller plunger door switch. The plunger door switch shuts off the air curtain when the door is pressed against it. When the door opens away from the switch, the plunger will pop back out, turning on the air curtain. Over time, contact with the door can make the switch less effective or cause it to break. With the new magnetic switch, one magnet is placed on the door frame and another is placed on the door itself. When the door is opened, the magnets are pulled apart which turns the air curtain on. When the door is closed, the magnets are pushed back together and turns off the air curtain. Since the magnets do not need to physically touch, they will not wear down and will last much longer. The magnetic switches are also much smaller than the roller plunger door switch, making it a lot easier to install.
INFRATECH Heaters - Choosing The Right Heater
Infratech has been a pioneer and leader in infrared technology for more than 50 years, offering a wide range of products for comfort heat applications. Infratech uses the latest in manufacturing technologies to offer you the most efficient infrared systems for the lowest cost in the industry. Infratech can provide the design, engineering, controls and infrared equipment your property or facility requires. Infratech is committed to providing high quality, innovative products that exceed our customers’ expectations. ABOUT INFRARED ENERGY A heated quartz element emits a safe, clean wavelength of light that is only absorbed by solid objects, transferring heat directly to a person, table or floor rather than heating the air. For this reason, infrared heat can be distributed very evenly, and will not simply “blow away” in windy or drafty conditions. Infratech medium wave quartz element heaters emit a barely discernible, pleasing glow that will not affect the ambience of your gathering – unlike competitive short-wave or halogen electric heaters that produce a very harsh glare or bright-colored light. ENJOY CLEANER, GREENER HEAT In today’s world, protecting our environment has become a top priority. With Infratech heaters, you can entertain outside without producing the negative environmental effects created by most gas-fired heaters or outdoor fireplaces. Traditional gas burners are often less than 50% efficient and emit carbon monoxide and other hazardous gases as a by-product of combustion and burning fuel. By contrast, our energy-efficient infrared fixtures convert over 90% of input energy directly into radiant heat, and operate for just pennies per hour. Infratech electric infrared heaters are safe for use outdoors or indoors, operate silently, emit no greenhouse gases or unpleasant odors and do not require ventilation. In addition, Infratech comfort heater components and packaging are completely recyclable. All Things Infratech | Become an Expert in Infratech Heating for Home and Commercial Use Choosing the right heater for you: Step 1: Determine your available space and the estimated dimensions of the mounting area you would like to heat. Step 2: Select the heater(s) that will work both functionally and aesthetically for your space. Consider size, number, of heaters, colors, and mounting options. Compartment Sink Installation Guide
Compartment Sink Installation Guide List of Sinks *It is recommended to have a licensed technician install this item Steps: 1) Insert the legs into the sockets under the sink and tighten with screws included. The leg braces should be on the left and right side. 2) Make sure sink is completely leveled and drain is centered. If not, adjust each leg until sink is leveled. Sink must be leveled to ensure that the water is properly drained. 3) Prepare tubing and pipes for faucet. 4) Install faucet. Connect tubing (not included) for the faucet. 5) Install strainer into the sink. Connect drain pipe (not included) to the sink. 6) To mount onto wall, drill the top of the back splash into the wall studs.   Issues? Bent or uneven back splash Sink may have been slightly bent during the shipping process. For small bent corners, use pliers to straighten out corners. This can be fixed by placing a small piece of wood or stack of cardboard on the front side of the back splash and hammering the wood or cardboard to straighten the back splash. DO NOT hammer directly onto the sink, as this will cause more dents or damage. Wall studs are too far apart Use a longer piece of wood that reaches both wall studs. Mount the wood onto the wall. Mount the sink onto the piece of wood.
